Portable Appliance Testing

Association are pleased to announce their
PAT testing service. We have a clear pricing
structure for our service so that the price you
see will be the price you pay. All charges are
based on the total number of items to be
tested.
Noise Assessments
A noise assessment will help you identify what your noise
levels are and where you need to start making changes to
the working environment.
The cost of a noise assessment varies between £450 to
£750 plus mileage, depending on the size of your site.
Compressed Air Leak Detection
Compressed air represents approximately 10% of industrial
electricity usage and is present, either as a utility or integral
process raw material, on the vast majority of industrial sites.
The first step in tackling leaks should be to have a
compressed air leak detection survey carried out. This can
be undertaken by a BEA Advisor at a time to suit you. Our
monitoring system is designed to be used during the
working day without any interruption to production.
HAV and WBV Management Systems
Our Advisors at the BEA can help by conducting on site
testing and assessment of all your plant, tools and
equipment. We can also implement a tailor made Hand
Arm Vibration Management System to suit your
requirements and help you fully comply with all legislation.If your business uses plant, machinery or vehicles that give
you any cause for concern, our advisors at the BEA are
able to undertake a complete WBV assessment and test
all your vehicles within actual working conditions.
Audiometry Tests
Audiometry tests can be carried out on your own premises providing you have a quiet room. Costs are as follows:-
10 people or under £25 per person
11 to 20 people £21 per person
More than 20 people will be charged at a daily rate of £450
