RESOURCE EFFICIENCY PROGRAMME

Environmental professionals from the BEA will conduct a review and develop an Action Plan to highlight possible resource efficiency gains and the resulting cost benefits.

RESOURCE EFFICIENCY CLUB

Membership to this FREE Club pays real dividends.

Since January 2006, members of the Club have achieved:

£2.6 million cost savings

21.9 million kWh energy (~ 6800 tonnes of CO2 savings)

24,500m3 water savings

70,000m3 effluent reduction

5,000 tonnes of waste diverted from landfill

1580 tonnes of raw materials

5000 hours of labour savings

These figures speak for themselves and membership of the Resource Efficiency Club aids businesses to address energy and water usage as well as waste production. As a club member we will provide consultancy and access to relevant workshops to assist you in making your improvements, becoming resource efficient and increasing your profits.

Lancashire BEA can arrange for an independent Advisor to conduct a scoping visit to assess opportunities for improvement in resource efficiency.
