ABOUT THE Lancashire Business Environment Association
The Lancashire Business Environment Association has been established to offer cost-effective, practical support to small and medium sized enterprises in Lancashire - helping to reduce their environmental pressures and at the same time offering tangible business benefits.
The Lancashire Business Environment Association was formed from the East Lancashire Business Environment Association which in turn can trace its origins back to the formation of the Business Environment Association in Blackburn in 1993.
Since the concept of an environmentally focused business club was introduced in Blackburn the Business Environment Association has grown to over 400 member organisations. These range in size from the micro to mega businesses.
The Lancashire Business Environment Association is an initiative of Business Link, Groundwork Pennine Lancashire and ENWORKS. It is partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Single Regeneration Budget.
Members benefits are covered on the services page but in short consist of a regular news service called ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISOR, seminars and workshops on topical issues, on-site consultations, a 24 hour telephone helpline and the Search & Send Service - a targeted information service.
The Lancashire Business Environment Association also provides some valuable additional services at extra cost such as the Environmental Legislation Update Service (ELUS)
Our Environmental Advisors also offer access to a range of specialist advice, from environmental reviews to management system consultancy, training and monitoring services. Each Environmental Advisor is aware of the particular needs of their respective areas. Contact a member of the team now. |
